Fitch Australia, NZ and the Islands
Advanced Power Systems International, Inc.(APSI) the manufacturers of the Fitch Fuel Catalyst was founded by John C. Fitch to commercialise his inventions and those of other innovators in the field of energy efficiency and transportation safety.
John C. Fitch is a man of many firsts. He was the first SCCA champion (1951) and won the 12 hours of Sebring in 1953. As Corvette race team manager he transformed the car into a full-fledged racing machine in the mid 50′s.
He is a contributing designer of the famous Lime Rock Park Speedway where Advanced Power Systems is located. He is perhaps better known for his development of the Fitch highway barrier system, the yellow sand filled barrels which are used on every interstate highway across the U.S. and which have saved thousands of lives dissipating the energy of automobile impacts.
In September of 2000 John Fitch was inducted into the Corvette Museum Hall of Fame for his contribution to making the Corvette a contender at Daytona, Sebring and Le Mans.
John Fitch was asked to provide development and commercialise resources to bring this novel fuel catalyst technology to market. After extensive fuels and engine evaluations, Advanced Power Systems Inc. commenced manufacture of this innovation and currently markets it under the brand name Fitch Fuel Catalyst. The Fitch Fuel Catalyst is a pre-combustion fuel treatment device that treats petrol (2 + 4 stroke), diesel, kerosene and propane on any size engine from small power equipment of less than 1 hp to engines of 10,000 hp or more.
The Fitch Fuel Catalyst allows fuel to combust more completely by inducing a chemical reaction among fuel molecules prior to combustion, thereby reducing the tendency of fuel to pre-ignite (causing knocking), burn poorly (causing smoke or soot) or go stagnant when stored.
Other benefits resulting from use of the Fitch Fuel Catalyst include reduced tailpipe emissions, better fuel economy, more power and quicker acceleration. These benefits translate into more economical usage of yesterday’s, today’s and tomorrow’s internal combustion engines, as well as less environmental impact from the use of hydrocarbon fuels. The Fitch Fuel Catalyst is a Permanent Fuel Treatment that eliminates the requirement for additives of all kinds, including octane boosters and fuel stabilizers.
Fitch Fuel Catalyst Australia Pty Ltd is the appointed Agent and Distributor for Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific Region for Advanced Power Systems International Inc., Lakeville, Connecticut, USA.
The product was first introduced to the US market 14 years ago and comes from a good stable in that one of the co-inventors, a Professor Alvin Berlin, was also involved with the creation of the catalytic converter, which we must now have fitted to all vehicles by law.
Fitch Fuel Catalysts are unique in that they are the only true catalyst available on the world market today that gives nothing of itself. It solely changes the structure of the fuel, creating a more efficient burn. All other so-named “fuel saving catalysts” on the market today are in fact additives (most commonly tin additives), not genuine catalysts.
(Consider that lead has been found to be harmful to the environment when burned in fuel, but now tin is being added into the fuel supply by many fuel saving devices on the market. The Fitch Fuel Catalyst does not add tin into the fuel supply.)
